Head of Technology in Monitor Deloitte. I develop hardware and software prototypes of IoT devices and apps using mostly Go, Rust and Dart with a particular focus on support, scalability and performance. I’ve helped clients develop self-driving technologies and full automation in several industries like mining, shipping, military, healthcare and many others.
Former Software Engineer and Innovation Manager at Sainsbury’s. I’ve worked within the e-commerce team on mission-critical microservices and serverless applications.

How a truly cloud-OS could provide the same outcomes that Moore’s Law had promised — but cannot deliver anymore. Now that miniaturisation has almost reached its limits, optimisation will become the key for innovation, so PLs like Go and a new kind of developer would need to emerge to support it.

Go on Fuchsia OS

Fuchsia is the new OS from Google based on a new non Linux kernel that could replace Android. Few Programming Languages will be supported and Go is of course one of them. This talk will highlight how to write an application in Go for Fuchsia and will also serve as an introduction to the new OS.
