Richard works at OKCoinJapan, the Japan branch of the global cryptocurrency conglomerate OKGroup. He comes from a Python background, and has previously spoken on the workings of the Python compiler at PyCasscades and PyCon Ireland.
With the surging popularity of Go in domains like web development, he is now transitioning to Go and harnessing its features like performance, concurrency, and elegance.
Richard has long been working in blockchain. Before his current role, he was involved in an international blockchain payment platform at Softbank. His bachelor's thesis focused on semi-permanent data storage using distributed platforms like Bitcoin and IPF
