Kris Raney

Cloud Architect @ Ixia Labs

Kris Raney, an accomplished Software Engineer, currently serves as a Distinguished Engineer, working as a cloud architect on the Ixia Labs team where he launched the CloudLens service. Kris has been instrumental in introducing cloud technologies and practices across several teams and products. Prior to his current role, he was Director of Software Engineering with BreakingPoint Systems, acquired by Ixia in 2012, where he was one of the original architects of the BreakingPoint product family, having been with the company since its inception in 2005. Kris has more than 20 years of industry experience, specifically in security and telecommunications, having held positions at Mirage Networks, BMC Software and Alcatel. Mr. Raney holds a Computer Science degree from Texas A&M University.
