As in every respectable GoLab and RustLab, we couldn't let you leave Florence without a taste of what we Italians are worldwide known for: our cuisine and our hospitality!
Feel all our Italian warmth in this dinner at the Cucina Torcicoda, just a few meters away from the stunning Piazza Santa Croce in the historical centre of Florence.

We're going to wine and dine and laugh, but that's not enough. Coming to the Social Event will make you eligible for the "Gopher's+Rustacean's Lottery" with these stunning prizes awaiting for you!

The Restaurant

Settled in a street beside the magnificent Piazza Santa Croce in the historical centre of Florence, Cucina Torcicoda is a must for having a taste of the genuine Florentine cuisine. It is also near enough to the conference venue (Grand Hotel Mediterraneo) so, in case of nice weather, can be easily reached in a few minutes walk.
The wooden tables disposed in several different rooms will create a nice intimate atmosphere among groups of 5-6 attendees per table so it won't be too chaotic speaking with your table's fellow mates.

The Menu

According to your dietary preferences, you can choose from 3 kinds of menu:

Omnivore Menu (50€)

First course: Maltagliati with chianina meat ragout with juniper and pecorino cheese of Pienza
Second course: Roasted veal loin with beer and seasonal vegetables;
Dessert: Chocolate mousse with cantucci crumbs.

Veggie Menu (45€)

First course: Maltagliati with pumpkin sauce and pecorino cheese
Second course: Parmigiano flan with sautéed vegetables and balsamic vinegar;
Dessert: Chocolate mousse with cantucci crumbs.

Vegan Menu (45€)

First course: Mezze maniche pasta with pumpkin cream, nuts and aromatic bread
Second course: Baked cauliflower with parsley sauce and pistachio grains;
Dessert: Mango sorbet with red fruits and almonds.

This price includes also water, wine and service.

We should already know, if you completed your ticket registration process, if you're allergic to certain food or want a gluten free option. If you didn't, please complete your ticket registration to inform us about your food intolerances.
